What is the Tuckerton Beach Association (TBA)?

A non-partisan group of residents (full and part time) whose overall purpose is the improvement of civic, economic, social, and environmental conditions in the Tuckerton Beach community. We are the eyes, ears, and voices for your investment here at the beach.  

Benefit of TBA Membership:

• The TBA provides a platform for reviewing and discussing problems affecting the Tuckerton Beach community and communicating the concerns of its members to the responsible individuals and organizations.

• The TBA develops initiatives and encourages participation of its members in activities which promote civic­ mindedness, neighborliness, and improves the quality of life among the residents of Tuckerton Beach and Tuckerton Borough as a whole.

• Some members of the TBA are part of the CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) program for Tuckerton Borough and are CPR and first aid trained.

• The TBA strives to have a member present at each Borough Council meeting to keep us informed as to the goings-on in the community and to bring back to the group.

• Block captains assist members with checking properties in the event of bad weather or other property issues when they are not present. I/you are a member and not here when a pipe breaks or your boat breaks loose for example, we know how to get in touch with you.

• BoatUS discount of $16 for all members.

• The TBA social and community events provides opportunities to meet new friends and neighbors.

• Tuckerton Beach Association Facebook group provides forum for member discussions and announcements of upcoming events.

• Advocates for water way maintenance and protection.

Accomplishments and current activities of the TBA:

• We have donated and supported our local charities and volunteer organizations.

• We award scholarship money to a graduating student at Pineland High School that came up through the Tuckerton Elementary School.

• We have assisted in water rescues and house flooding from broken pipes and so much more.

• We purchased a defibrillator for the borough as well as a life preserver for the South Green Street Park.

• We organize a Tuckerton Beach clean-up each year, decorate street signs, manage the "Welcome to Tuckerton Beach" sign and have painted the park benches at Green Street Park.

• We organize concerts and events at South Green Street Park for our members during the summer months.

• Instrumental in installation of for check vavles on streets to minimize flooding.
